Our take
I've been using the LG 45GX950A for a few weeks, and it's an impressive OLED monitor. The 5K2K resolution is incredibly sharp, and the 165 Hz refresh rate makes games feel smooth. Colors are vibrant thanks to the 98.5% DCI-P3 coverage, and blacks are truly black with that 1,500,000:1 contrast. The 0.03 ms response time is basically instant. However, brightness is on the lower side at 275 cd/m², which might not be ideal for bright rooms. The 800R curve is immersive but takes some getting used to. At $2,460.85, it's a premium investment, but for serious gamers who want top-tier image quality, it delivers.
